TN Nighthawks Fastpitch Softball
Our Mission is to help local, female athletes elevate their softball performance while also building confidence, promoting teamwork, and developing leadership skills that will impact their future as they grow into powerful young women on and off the field.
We currently have 16u, 14U, 12U, 10U, and 8U programs, all of which are coached by experienced, knowledgeable coaches.

Danyela Ptaszek
SHORTSTOP / 1B / 2B / 3B - 14U
Danyela Ptaszek is a force to be reckoned with on the softball field. At just 14 years old, she has mastered multiple positions, showcasing her versatility as a player by holding down new positions with skill and confidence.
Known for her powerful hitting, Danyela is a major threat to opposing pitchers, always ready to send the ball soaring with her impressive swing. Her love for the game is evident every time she steps onto the field, bringing both passion and energy to every practice and game.
This dedication and talent haven’t gone unnoticed—Danyela has been honored by being added to the Blackman High varsity team as a freshman, a testament to her outstanding skills and potential.

Jaynie Beth Wray
PITCHER / 2B - 14U
Jaynie Beth “JB” Wray is a straight-A student out of Eagleville School (TN) playing mostly pitcher and second base while being a consistent threat at the plate. JB’s success on and off the softball field is due to a year-round intensity and focus. When she is not studying and participating in softball activities, you will likely find her hanging out with her pet donkey, sister, and brother, reading a good book or watching the History channel. Presently, JB plans to go to college to play softball and pursue an engineering degree.

Paisley Zimmerman
1B / Outfield - 10U
Paisley began her travel ball life as a standout player on the first 8U Nighthawks team, finishing the inaugural season as Tournament MVP after securing the championship with a walk-off double. Excelling at first base, her impressive ability to stretch and dig balls from the dirt has made her a defensive asset. A powerful hitter, Paisley quickly established herself as a core member of the 2015 team, contributing both offensively and defensively.

Annie Shogren
CATCHER / UTILITY - 10U
Annie Grey is a dynamic and versatile athlete, known for her exceptional skills behind the plate and on the field. As an original member of the TN Nighthawks 2015 team, she made an immediate impact, earning Season MVP honors during the inaugural 8U season.
Upon transitioning to 10U, Annie seamlessly took on the role of catcher, quickly becoming a defensive force. Her strong arm and keen game awareness allow her to shut down the running game and provide critical support to her pitchers. Offensively, she is a true dual-threat as a switch hitter—displaying power from the right side and utilizing her speed with strategic slap hitting from the left.
Annie’s adaptability, leadership, and all-around athleticism make her an invaluable asset to her team.

Olivia Baker
CENTERFIELD /INFIELD - 13U
Olivia is a standout defender that uses her speed and strong arm to excel in both the outfield and the infield. At the plate, she is a powerful hitter with a great approach, and with her speed she is always a threat to take an extra base. Olivia is a great teammate and leader and her versatility is a true asset to the team.

Aubrey Lambert
PITCHER/ UTILITY - 13U
Aubrey Lambert brings both passion and energy to our 13u team. A headstrong competitor who loves a challenge, Aubrey plays a big role on this team. On the mound, you can see her intensity and work ethic pay off. On both offense and defense, we rely heavily on Aubrey’s softball IQ. We are looking for her to have a big season.

Taylor Bencivenga
SHORTSTOP - 12U
Meet Taylor, our phenomenal shortstop, rocking the field in jersey number 8! With her exceptional skills, she has proven to be a key player for our team this season. Not only does she dazzle us with her lightning-fast reflexes and agile movements on the bases, but she also brings her A-game at the plate! Taylor boasts an impressive batting average of .378 this fall, showcasing her ability to connect with the ball consistently and drive it to all corners of the field. But that’s not all! With an astounding on-base percentage of .582, she knows how to get on base and create scoring opportunities for her teammates. Whether she’s making incredible plays in the infield or racking up hits, Taylor exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated and talented athlete.

Kinsley Pitzer
PITCHER - 12u
Proud of our star pitcher #71 Kinsley! Her incredible skills and determination on the field are unmatched. Every game, she brings her A-game and inspires us all! Kinsley pitched 46 innings for Nighthawks and finished the fall season with 64% strikes with 35 K’s and only 17 walks! Kinsley is not just a talented pitcher; she's a true leader on and off the field. Her work ethic and dedication to the sport are evident in every practice and game. Whether she's striking out opposing hitters or making crucial plays, Kinsley embodies the spirit of the game. We're excited to see what she accomplishes this season!

Annabelle is a standout centerfielder known for her exceptional speed and powerful arm. Her speed not only makes her a defensive asset but also a formidable base-sealing threat. Annabelle's dedication, positive attitude and leadership skills make her an invaluable member of the team.

SHORTSTOP - 13U
Callen is in her second year with the Nighthawks and determined to grow. You’ll find her at shortstop or anywhere the teams needs her. She is a consistent, confident and reliable leader for our team.

Grace Hooper
LEFT FIELD / 3B / CATCHER - 16U
Grace was on the very first Nighthawks team created. Grace utilizes her versatility on the field to assist defensively in almost every position. She is a power hitter for the 16U team and her favorite position is Left Field. She will be a rising Freshman next spring for the Brentwood Bruins 2023 High School softball team.

Chloe Wingert
OUTFIELD / INFIELD - 16U
Wheels might be the first word that comes to mind when trying to describe Chloe on the softball diamond. Quick to chase down any flyball in the outfield, but also willing to stretch an offensive triple into a home run if the other team is sleeping. If you need any position filled in the infield, just take your pick with her. Chloe will be joining the Ravenwood Raptors next spring as a Freshman.
